The following information is required to enable the engineering of a HDPE liner installation:
• Fluid composition
• Pipeline length
• Steel pipe outside diameter
• Steel pipe wall thickness
• Flange rating
• Type of joint (ie. Welded or mechanical)
• Operating temperature
• Test pressure
• Internal condition of line (e.g. Scale build-up)
• System drawing (showing sidebends, overbends or fittings)
• Site location, right of way access
• Topography of pipeline route
Given the above information, PIHA will fully engineer all design parameters specific to your project. This, combined with a site visit from the team at PIHA, can determine the liner wall thickness, number of pull points, section lengths and a cost estimate for your project.
