We would like to congratulate our Electrical Apprentice, Corree Corbett, on his nomination for ‘Apprentice of the Year’ at the 2019 National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA) Apprentice Awards.

Electrical Apprentice, Corree, on the job.

This award recognises and rewards apprentices and their employers for outstanding performance and commitment to the industry.

Corree was nominated as a top three finalist in his category, which is a testament to the hard work and dedication he has to his studies. Corree’s nomination is wholeheartedly supported by his mentors and peers at our Kwinana Workshop where he is based, who have praised him on his commitment to safety, ability to work well in a team and detail-oriented approach to his work.

As a company, we are committed to investing in the growth and development of our people, which we believe will help ensure our long-term success. Corree’s nomination is a reflection of the success of our Apprenticeship Program, which continues to support and produce a high calibre of talent to MRL and the wider resource industry.
